Profile
Hello, this is Cynthia Neimi!
Born in 1984 and raised in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro, I have always felt attentive to people's behavior and subjectivity and with a genuine interest in the complexity of affective experiences. In this sense, the search for understanding the most diverse perceptions and the practice of sensitive listening became a very natural path.
In 2007, the conclusion of my graduation in Psychology at PUC-Rio started my professional career. In parallel with the study of Psychoanalysis and years of service in the office, I noticed my interest in fashion and art expanding intensely.
From there, I diversified my field of study and acting, starting with the Fashion Styling course at FIT NY in 2012. to follow, I graduated as an Image and Style Consultant at SENAI-CETIQT and specialized in Chromatic Analysis at Estillo Consultoria and Human Resources Management at Descartes Consultoria.
In 2015, I completed my postgraduate degree in Fashion Production and Styling at UVA RJ, I signed the styling of several fashion editorials, prepared the technical courses on Fashion Production and Image Consulting at Senac Rio and I was part of the teaching staff in the three following years, collaborating in the training of many professionals, currently recognized in the market.
In 2016, I co-founded the conscious fashion brand RAMBLAS and continued to jointly manage many projects and art exhibitions.
In 2019, I experimented with drawing and painting something very particular and meaningful. This creative exercise proved to be a powerful way of self-expression and, in an unexpected and pleasant way, I took on artistic practice as a craft.
In 2022, I started a new phase of expansion of my work in Europe, locating my new studio in Cascais, Portugal.
In this journey, composed of a certain amount of fluidity, I realize that the combination of my essence, personal and professional experiences flow in harmony, translating my trajectory so far.
Currently, I have concentrated my studies on simplified and feminine forms, always guided by my affections and reflections on being a woman in contemporary times. My interest in art is genuine and quite broad, but the influence of the works of artists Tarsila do Amaral and Henri Matisse is deep and perceptible.
